• Demo and Preparation: Remove and dispose of existing commercial box gutters, downspouts, and perimeter metal flashing along 800 LF • Remove loose gravel and asphalt of the roof perimeter • Protect adjacent building components during work • Soffit and Fascia: Remove rotted wood at identified locations Sofit approximately 39’ x 7’ and fascia approximately 39’x 1’ – replace deteriorated substrate. Furnish and replace soffit panels and aluminum wrapped fascia suitable for gutter attachment. • Gutters and Downspouts: Install prior to final roof edge flashing • Furnish and install new commercial box style gutters along 800 LF; including hangers, outlets, end caps and sealants. Furnish and install new downspouts with straps and standard attachment. • Replace deteriorated substrate • Establish proper alignment, elevation, and pitch. • BUR perimeter roof repair and drip edge installation pull back 12-18 inches of gravel and asphalt along the roof perimeter. • Cut back existing BUR plies as required. • Inspect and replace deteriorated perimeter wood nailer only where exposed and necessary. • Install new perimeter flashing system embedded in hot asphalt - followed by new gravel stop/drip-edge flashing aligned to discharge into gutters. • Reinforce metal flange, flood cost, and re-embed gravel. • All work is to be completed as laid out in the scope of work. • All perimeter flashing and metal edge installation shall be completed using hot asphalt to ensure proper adhesion and compatibility with the existing built-up roof system.
