Hyland OnBase is an Enterprise Information Management (EIM) platform, a powerful content services solution that centralizes, manages, and automates business content (documents, data) and processes across organizations, integrating with other core systems like ERPs and EHRs (Electronic Health Records) to provide a complete, contextual view of information for users, enhancing efficiency, workflow, and decision-making. It offers modular features like content capture, workflow automation, case management, and records management, making it adaptable for various industries, including healthcare (OCHIN Epic EHR integration) and government. The TDCJ Information Technology Division (ITD) currently uses Hyland Enterprise OnBase Maintenance and Licensing Subscriptions to support Hyland OnBase as the TDCJ's Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) to store and catalog the documents generated or transferred to it. These documents can be received via scan, imported, or transferred from other systems. The system complies with CJIS, HIPAA, PII, and other security concerns. These specifications are being advertised under Section 2155.067 of the Texas Government Code. Only bids on items conforming exactly to these specifications, which include proposing only the brand name(s), make and model number(s) specified, will be considered in determining an award.
