COLLECTION OPERATIONS- GENERAL PROVISIONS 2.01 Location of 96-gallon solid waste receptable for Collection. All solid waste receptables shall be placed at curbside for collection or have the option for backdoor/concierge service at an additional cost. Curbside refers that portion of right-of-way adjacent to paved or traveled roadways. All solid waste receptacles shall be placed as close to the roadway as to practicable without interfering with or endangering the movement of vehicles or pedestrians. Backdoor/concierge service refers to the contractor retrieving the solid waste receptable from the side of the residential unit and returning it back to its original place after collection. The Contractor shall not be required to pick up articles that are placed in a hazardous location. (i.e. overhead power lines, mailboxes, street signs, etc.) In such situations, the Contractor must notify the Producer/Generator by tagging the location using a system approved by the city. 2.02 Hours of Operation. Collection of Waste Material shall not start before 7:00 a.m. or continue after 5:00 p.m. on the same day.
