To establish an Indefinite Quantity Agreement for reconditioning work on park amenities on an as-needed basis for the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department. The location of work will be at various parks and recreation centers throughout Columbus. Amenities include, but are not limited to: park benches, picnic tables and decorative trash containers. The estimated dollar amount to be spent on this agreement will not exceed $50,000.00. Contractor Requirements: Must be able to provide services including, but not limited to: Safely remove and transport amenities off site to perform reconditioning work. Remove existing powder coating on all surfaces by means of chemical removal, media blasting (dry or wet), or electrostatic removal. Clean, prepare and apply a new powder coating finish to the amenities, including primer if applicable per powder coating manufacturer directions. Safely transport and re-install amenities in parks. Contractor while performing duties shall, at all times, adhere to industry standards and abide by all EPA, OSHA, and all applicable regulations. The successful bidder will be required to submit a State of Ohio Workers’ Compensation Certificate and Liability Insurance Certificate. The successful bidder must be registered with The Ohio Secretary of State for bids to be considered
