Preconstruction Phase • Submit product data, shop drawings, installation procedures, and manufacturer certifications for review and approval. • Provide a mock-up panel for Owner/Architect approval before full installation proceeds. • Submit construction schedule, safety plan, and schedule of values. • All existing conditions must be verified during the bid process. Construction Phase / Site Protection • Prepare the existing stucco substrate in accordance with EIFS manufacturer requirements and project drawings, repairing cracks, spalls, or defects prior to application. • Install EIFS system with continuous insulation, base coat, reinforcing mesh, and finish coat, with proper detailing at windows, doors, joints, and transitions to prevent water intrusion.
