In November 2022, voters within the Spring ISD community approved an $850 million bond to address the longstanding facility, technology, and safety and security needs of the District. The five-year bond project kicked off immediately and work across the district is projected to continue through 2027. Spring Independent School District (also referred to as “SISD” or “District”) intends to select a General Contractor to serve as Construction Manager-at-Risk to construct, manage, and implement multi campus electrical project as authorized by the Spring Independent School District. The District will enter into a single agreement with the successful Contractor. The scope of the project shall consist, but not be limited to, the following: • Meyer Elementary School – Electrical Service Restoration • Hirsch Elementary School - Electrical Service Restoration • Wells Middle School – Interior Lighting Replacements • Westfield High School – Interior Lighting Replacements • Dekaney Middle School – Interior Lighting Replacements • Westfield High School - Athletic Facility – Stadium Lighting Replacements • Multi-Campus – Power Factor Correction • Multi-Campus – Electrical Subpanel Metering and Monitoring Additions
