It is the expectation that the successful Consultants will work as extensions of the Sanitary Engineering Department staff. The work may include, but is not limited to, investigations, inspections and evaluations of existing conditions, surveying, geotechnical investigations, letter report preparation, preparation of drawings and specifications, bid documents, engineering services during construction, construction inspection and preparation of record plan drawings. The Consultants must have experienced personnel and equipment for performing this work including experience with confined space entries as outlined in the OSHA standard found in the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 1910.146. The following is a list of Program Areas that the Consultants could be asked to provide services for under this contract: Electrical Equipment evaluations and or replacement Process modeling Resolving process control issues Mechanical equipment evaluation and replacement.
