2.1 The Department has a 2000 bulk fuel tank for gasoline and a 2000 bulk fuel tank for diesel which is used to refuel state owned vehicles as well as fuel jugs. 2.2 The current system is manual, and card reader is non-functional. 2.3 The department uses WEX fuel cards when vehicles are re-fueled in the community. 3. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 3.1 The system must include a card reader device located near the outdoor bulk fuel tanks that is used to turn fuel dispensers on and off, monitor the amount of fuel dispensed, recognize authorized WEX fuel cards, and interface with existing fuel tanks. The card reader device must interface with WEX fuel cards. 3.2 The system must be able to track the amount of fuel in the fuel tanks. 3.3 System software must allow for integration with the department’s active directory for single signon capabilities for staff. It must also allow the department to manage the user access levels and authority within the system. 3.4 System software must contain an audit log that tracks when information is updated.
