This Agreement is entered into by and between the California Franchise Tax Board, hereinafter referred to as “FTB”, and (awarded contractor’s Name), hereinafter referred to as the “Contractor”. Contractor agrees to provide FTB, all labor, collection containers, materials, non-consumable supplies, transportation, equipment, training of key facility personnel, and every other item and service of expense necessary to perform refuse collection services at FTB’s two (2) locations: 9646 Butterfield Way (San Diego Warehouse) and 9695 Butterfield Way (California Warehouse), Sacramento, California 95827. The Contractor will pick up refuse on the designated dates. FTB RESPONSIBILITIES FTB shall ensure the waste bins are not blocked or obscured by any objects. FTB will not dispose of any prohibited items in any of the waste bins, including but not limited to: Food Foliage Electronic Waste Solvents Hazardous Waste Waste bins will be filled at each respective capacity and not overfilled. FTB shall respond to any Refusal Collection Notices from the Contractor within one (1) to two (2) business days after receipt of the notice. FTB’s Recycle Coordinator shall contact the Contractor within two (2) business days for additional service requests for emergency or unscheduled services. FTB will be responsible for all damage caused by translocation of equipment/parts by FTB employees.
