Rehabilitation of existing sewer infrastructure within the City of Southport and new construction of approximately 9,000 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer force main connecting Park Avenue pump station to the manifold force main connection on NC 211 in the City of Southport to include the following: • Installation of new PVC C900 force main by open cut, installation of fusible PVC C900 force main by horizontal directional drill (HDD), installation of new PVC C900 force main by bore and jack, connection to existing and/or proposed force mains, installation of air release valves, and site restoration. • Cut-in 6-inch force main connection between the existing 6-inch Ninth Street PS force main and existing 8-inch Central PS force main including fittings, restrained PVC C900, and valves, near the intersection of Ninth Street and Clarendon Avenue. • Rehabilitation of gravity sewer piping by cured-in place lining (CIPP) and point repairs; rehabilitation and replacement of sewer services and cleanouts; rehabilitation of manholes, including manhole lining, installation of inside service drop connections, realignment and replacement of manhole ring and covers, manhole infiltration dish installation, and manhole bench/invert repair; and replacement of select manholes with polymer concrete manholes.
