Notice is hereby given that the City of Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking sealed bids for 2 (two) 20-Ton Capacity Equipment Trailers. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Current Year Model; GVWR: 50,000 lbs. Maximum Payload: 40,000 lbs. w/adequate hitch load. Overall Length: approximately 31'; Deck Length: 25' (20' Flat w/ 5' dovetail). Deck Width: 102". Deck Height: 35'. Sidestep in front of the street side front wheel. (FIgure 3); Dovetail: 5' w/ Wood. Ramps: 24” X 87” hydraulic operated ramps with toolbox mounted 12V hydraulic pump on side rail. Toolbox should be sufficient size to house the self-contacting hydraulic pump and a 12Vvolt battery that will operate the pump. A 12V, 200 amp rated, 2-pole trailer wiring connector Pollak PK12800 or equal will be connected to the battery and routed to the tongue to connect to the truck to charge the battery (Figure 6,7 & 8.).
