The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to contract with a qualified proposer that will provide new core instructional materials in science for grades 5 and 8, as well as Biology. The instructional materials should meet the needs of all learners, including those with special needs, English language learners, and those who require enrichment opportunities. The selected materials should include: ● A comprehensive curriculum aligned with the North Carolina K-12 Science Standards. ● Professional development for educators to ensure successful implementation and integration of materials. ● Digital and/or physical resources that support in-class instruction, differentiation, and student engagement. ● Teacher and student assessments that track student progress and help inform instructional decisions.
