OVERVIEW The County of San Diego (County) Wastewater Management has a requirement for as-needed stationery design, printing with envelopes, mail processing, and delivery services for sewer and water customers. SEWER CUSTOMERS: The San Diego County Sanitation District has approximately 37,000 sewer customers that we reach out to from time to time during a year. In addition, we have several smaller water districts that in total have approximately 300 customers. Below are our typical scenarios that we do several times a year: Every year, we reach out at least once to the 37,000 customers by sending postcards notifying them of the rates for the coming year. There may or may not be additional mailings depending on what the law requires. Every five years, (the next will be in 2028) when we set our rates, we do mass mailings 5-6 times in one year to all 37,000 regarding multiple hearings, available webinars to attend, information, and outreach events as needed. We can provide envelopes but when needed, we’d like the vendor can also print envelopes along with the letters.
