The City of Sandy Springs is seeking a qualified Consultant to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for PI 0021223, the GA 400 Multi-Use Path Extension. The project will construct an extension of the PATH 400 regional trail system within the City of Sandy Springs, connecting to the existing PATH 400 network and advancing multimodal transportation options along the GA 400 corridor. The project consists of the construction of a multi-use shared path, including grading, drainage, retaining walls, structural components as required, erosion control, utility coordination, and other associated improvements. Work will require oversight of contractor activities, inspection, documentation of materials and quantities, compliance with GDOT Standard Specifications, monitoring of traffic control, environmental compliance, and project reporting. The Consultant will ensure that all construction activities conform to the approved plans, GDOT standards, and federal/state requirements.
