The ODNR, Division of Wildlife is seeking contractors to plant and care for three (3) dove fields at Darke Wildlife Area located in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio. The contract period will be from the date a Purchase Order is issued through June 30 th, 2026. The goal of the project is to establish three dove fields consisting of stands of Sunflowers, White Proso Millet, and Wheat in each field, and to control weeds in those stands throughout the growing season. Wheat has already been planted. Specific treatments are outlined below, and field locations are shown on the attached maps. Estimated total acreage is 10.5 acres. Bids should be placed for the project in its entirety. Bids for a partial job will be rejected.
