The South Bay Union School District (“District”) is seeking proposals from qualified providers (“Provider”) to offer Extended Learning Programs that provide academic support, enrichment activities to students TK-8th grade before school and after school until 6pm. These services are available at no cost to all students through the After School Education and Safety (ASES) grant and the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P). The students to staff ratio is 10:1 for Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten and 20:1 for grades 1-8. It is the District’s intent to contract with the most responsive and responsible Provider in order to provide before and afterschool services that include, but are not limited to, what is outlined in the objectives/scope of work section below, for the Extended Learning Opportunity Program (“ELOP”).
