Scope The City of Columbia is seeking bids to purchase Automated Side Loader Refuse truck(s). The bodies and chassis shall be a new or a demo unit. Bidders shall complete the compliance section (Exhibit A) indicating whether specifications have been met, all exceptions shall be noted. All standard equipment for necessary operation shall be included with unit bid i.e. International Code Council (ICC). All systems to be installed and operational upon delivery of truck(s). The City may schedule an on-site demonstration in order to thoroughly evaluate, test and compare the equipment offered. Specifications Contractor shall provide a firm, fixed price for the requested truck(s). Automated Side Loader Refuse Trucks shall meet or exceed specifications provided in Exhibit A. Contractor should include detailed manufacturer's specification sheets and descriptive literature. Any deviations from the attached specifications shall be noted on the specification sheets. Any items appearing in the manufacturer's specifications furnished by the bidder are assumed to be included in the bidder's proposal. Variations from the manufacturer's specifications shall be clearly outlined in a separate, attached document. All units offered are to be new, current year. Production models to meet or exceed attached specifications.
