he work consists of converting the existing Lake Worth Road/120th Avenue intersection into a modern single-lane roundabout. The project includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to provide a fully functional and complete improvement. Major elements of construction include: • Intersection Reconstruction: Removal of the existing uncontrolled geometry and construction of a modern roundabout to improve traffic flow and provide an overall improvement to intersection safety. • Drainage Improvements: Installation and/or modification of stormwater conveyance systems, structures, canal culverts, and inlets to maintain positive drainage throughout the project limits. • Pedestrian Accessibility Upgrades: Construction of ADA-compliant sidewalks, crosswalks, detectable warning surfaces, and associated features to improve pedestrian mobility and safety. • Roadway and Pavement Work: Excavation, embankment, base preparation, asphalt paving, curb and gutter, signage, pavement markings, lighting adjustments, and other elements required to complete the roundabout. • Traffic Control: Implementation and maintenance of approved MOT plans to ensure safe operations for the traveling public and construction personnel. • Landscaping Improvements: Installation of a completed landscaping and irrigation system plans and specifications. • Lighting Improvements: Installation of a completed lighting system per the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall furnish all machinery, equipment, materials, testing, supervision, and man-hours required to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications.
