1. Location Proposer must have a facility located within 25 miles of the County Shop located at 102808 E. Wiser Parkway, Kennewick, WA 99338. Any repairs authorized by the Fleet Manager will need to be completed at vendors facility. If vendor needs to transport vehicle to another location for repairs, prior written authorization will need to be obtained from the County’s Fleet Manager. 2. Secure locked storage facility The vendor must have a secure facility to store County Fleet vehicles in their possession that includes locked fencing, and a locked secured location for all keys. When the vendoris not actively working on vehicles,the vehicles will be fully locked, and if applicable anti-theft systems activated. The vendor understands that in order to accomplish the work required the vendor will have to take temporary custody of marked law enforcement patrol cars for periods of time. The vendor shall not permit any subcontractors to have access to patrol vehicles without first obtaining written permission from the Fleet Manager. 3. Body Repair and Painting The vendor will provide auto body repair and painting services for vehicles and equipment, to include but not be limited to general body repair, dent repair, component replacement for exterior/interior body components, collision damage repair, glass repair/replacement including windshields, painting all or portions of vehicle bodies, and other repair services. Bent parts are to be straightened and reinforced or replaced if necessary, all paint work will be to industry standards.
