Contractor shall survey and inspect all surfaces for damage and inform the Parish of any repairs before painting. Fence, firetruck, and caboose shall be cleaned to remove all dirt, mildew, loose paint, and debris using pressure washing or an equivalent cleaning method. Surfaces shall be prepped by scraping, sanding, and priming bare spots. Primer shall be applied where needed, and a minimum of two coats of exterior paint. Paint and primer shall receive prior approval before commencement of work. Only premium-grade exterior paint and primer, specifically suited for the prevailing climate conditions, shall be utilized. The 6ft iron fence is approximately 870 square feet of area to be primed and painted on both sides, as well as three (3) sets of gates. Pro Industrial TM Pro-Cryl Universal exterior primer and Pro Industrial TM DTM Acrylic Gloss exterior paint with Ultradeep Base for Tricorn Black exterior paint for the fence or prior approved equal. The caboose primer Pro Industrial TM Pro-Cryl Universal exterior primer and exterior paint Pro Industrial TM DTM Acrylic Semi-Gloss/Eggshell in green, red, and Tricorn Black exterior paint or prior approved equal. The firetruck primer Pro Industrial TM Pro-Cryl Universal exterior primer and exterior paint Pro Industrial TM DTM Acrylic Gloss/Semi-Gloss/Eggshell in red and Tricorn Black exterior paint or prior approved equal. Contractor must protect plants, walkways, and other areas from overspray. All paint chips, debris, and materials must be removed from the site upon completion. The disposal of waste shall be in compliance with all local regulations.
