The City of Bangor requests bids to furnish and deliver one (1) Mini Excavator, current model year (or unsold prior year model) to the Fleet Maintenance Facility, FOB destination, 481 Maine Avenue, Bangor, Maine. Specifications include, but are not limited to: Unit: 1 The unit shall be a John Deere 60P, Volvo EC60E, or equal alternate of comparable size that meets or exceeds the specifications on the following pages. Engine: 2.a The engine shall be heavy duty turbocharged, four (4) cylinder with a minimum net peak horsepower of 53HP or greater, Tier 4 Compliant. 2.b The engine shall also have an extreme duty oil filtration system, muffled exhaust and cold starting aid. 2.c Fuel shall be low sulfur diesel; 2.d One hundred ten (110) volt, one thousand (1000) amp engine heater shall be professionally mounted on the unit for ease of operation; 2.e The exhaust emission and noise level must comply with all applicable Federal, State of Maine and EPA standards. EPA Tier IV emissions.
