The Contractor shall provide on-site breath and urine specimen collection through the use of a mobile testing unit (i.e., recreational or similar vehicle). It is the Contractor’s responsibility to ensure that there is a mobile testing unit always available to conduct collection services during the term of the contract. The mobile testing unit shall be registered and licensed by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. The SFMTA prefers that the Contractor use a Class B or Class C motorhome, with running water, a private bathroom area, and a lounge area. The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, facilities, and supervision for the collection, security, temporary storage, and shipping or transportation of specimens to a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)-certified laboratory.
