1. Utility Plan Review Services • Review water and sewer infrastructure design elements within development submissions including site plans, subdivision plans, preliminary plats, construction documents, hydraulic calculations, and roadway/stormwater improvements conveying to the City’s utility system • Evaluate conformance with City standards, specifications, master plans, and easement requirements • Review submissions for the Planning Commission, Development Review Committee, internal staff review processes, and other governmental entity projects within City limits • Provide coordinated and actionable review comments through established City procedures 2. Coordination Meetings & Documentation • Participate in pre-submittal meetings and project coordination discussions • Prepare clear written review comments for each submission cycle • Support timely communication and efficient interdepartmental review 3. GIS Integration & Asset Management Support • Digitize newly constructed utility assets and update GIS attribute fields • Assist City staff with field verification of critical infrastructure where appropriate • Maintain data accuracy in alignment with City GIS standards and schemas • Support ongoing asset management initiatives
