• The annual testing of approximately 450 backflow prevention devices. Contractor may begin testing April 1st of each calendar year. It will be required that all testing shall be completed three (3) month after testing has started, but no later than August 31 st of each testing year. • Recording and report testing results to the Water Operations Division on City form. All testing results shall be reported to the City by August 31st of each testing year. • The potential for additional testing, repair, service or device replacement. • The contractor and all employed testers must possess a valid AWWA Backflow Prevention Assembly General Tester Certification and provide an annual gauge calibration certification. • Availability for “on-call” services within the maximum response time of 15 minutes by phone and maximum 4 hours arrival to the site with a goal of 2 hours. • On site field review and depict existing field conditions. • Immediate notification to the City of potential problems.
