The selected lobbyist must possess experience at the local, state, and federal levels to effectively advocate for and protect the best interests of the Town. The lobbyist must have established working relationships with local legislators and a thorough understanding of local legislative priorities and issues. The ability to meet in person with Town officials and administrative staff on short notice is essential. To promptly establish effective representation and advocacy during the current legislative session, it is necessary for the Town to engage an experienced firm or individual with a proven and well-established background in legislative and governmental affairs.
