Primary Parking Area • Apply herbicide to grass and vegetation and clip edges as necessary • Thoroughly clean parking areas and drives, removing all dirt, loose gravel, and weeds from cracks • Wire broom oil-stained areas and apply primer as needed to prevent oil and gas bleedthrough • Patch low and broken areas using SCDOT hot plant mix asphalt • Fill cracks measuring ¼” to 2” using SCDOT-approved hot rubberized crack filler • Fill larger cracks using hot plant mix asphalt • Seal coat parking areas and drives • Re-stripe pavement markings to match existing layout Drainage Flume Improvements • Fill cracks using elastomeric material • Furnish and install approximately 50 linear feet of 2” safety yellow steel handrail around drop-off • Construct a 30’ x 5’ asphalt apron at the walking trail behind the drainage flume 2.
