The City of New Port Richey’s Community Redevelopment Agency is seeking to retain a qualified, highly-creative, and experienced home builder to design, permit, construct, and ultimately sell or lease, two (2) new coastal cottage homes in the Edgewater Gardens Subdivision. The overall goal is to introduce a new housing type that encourages a variety of residential densities and housing types to address new uses for undersized lots throughout the city. The City is interested in introducing a more resilient, single-family, detached housing product to residential areas within flood zone classification, AE. The Scope of Services includes but is not limited to the following: • Overall vision for each Coastal Cottage • How the vision celebrates New Port Richey’s Gulf lifestyle • Colors and palettes that tie or highlight the community • Ensure the health, welfare and safety of residents Design standards include but not limited to: • An opportunity to present more modern architectural treatments • Building height • Parking • Landscaping • Setbacks • Special accommodations to make the vision fit in the space
