Purchased for a Haines biomass project approximately 20 years ago and never used, the Triafrost PG 30% is a propylene glycol based heat transfer fluid that contains a package of specially formulated inhibitors that help prevent corrosion and thermal breakdown. Triafrost PG 30% can be used for secondary cooling and heating, freeze and burst protection of pipes, defrosting, dehumidifying and various deicing. Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) where contact with food and beverage occur. Recommended use temperature range: -28C (-18F) to 104C (220 F).
