Furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision to provide complete parking lot traffic marking services. Thoroughly mark entire parking lot(s) and driveway(s) at the locations identified in this document. Manage all traffic control to eliminate marking paint contacting parked or driven vehicles. Work includes all traffic and pedestrian marking currently in place at each site, including but not limited to, parking stalls, handicap logos, stop bars, crosswalks and curb painting. Changes to existing markings will be at the unit pricing provided on the quote form when requested by a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor or their designee. Most marking activities will be performed between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. unless prior arrangements are made with the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor. Remove all equipment, containers and supplies upon completion of work at each site. MNDOT standard marking paint will be spray applied using standard industry approved equipment for this type of work. Equipment used must be of a type that is industry approved and shall be operated in such a manner as to not create or cause damage of any nature to employees or other persons or damage the building structure or grounds, landscape items, curbing etc. Any injuries or damages shall be reported to the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor on the day of occurrence. Remove loose paint and repaint yellow curbing: Cut back grass with power edger, hand scrape loose paint, pressure blast with water and sand to remove remaining paint and other markings, repaint when dry. Design and layout of new bituminous is to be quoted on a per hour basis.
