This is a design/build project which involves the design and construction of a complete roof assembly replacement for Areas 2 through 6 (refer to Attachment A Project Plan), primarily located on the west side of Terminals A & B buildings. The total roof area is approximately 334,725 SF. The Contractor shall provide a detailed project schedule, including the duration of each area and project execution plans. Areas 2 and 3 are in the center of the building and they will be included as part of the base bid. Areas 4 through 6 are situated in the northern and southern portion of the building and they will be bid as alternates. To expedite completion, it is preferred to have 2 roofing crews working concurrently throughout the project.
