Pasadena Water and Power ("PWP"), a department of the City of Pasadena ("City"), is seeking qualified vendors to supply air intake filters for Gas Turbines GT-3 and GT-4 LM6000 simple cycle gas at the Glenarm Power Plant. This contract shall include services for the term of the contract, which is slated for a 3 year term. These components are essential for operation of the gas turbines, and must meet the technical specifications and quality standards outlined in this procurement. PWP’s Glenarm Power Plant consists of five (5) natural gas-fired combustion turbine units (GTs). GT-1, GT-2, GT-3, and GT-4 are simple cycle units and GT-5 is a combined cycle unit. GT-1 and GT2 are 1970’s-era Curtiss-Wright simple cycle gas turbines each rated at 26 MW. GT-3 and GT-4 are GE LM6000 simple cycle gas turbines with a capacity of 47 MW each. GT-5 is a combined cycle unit with a GE LM6000 gas turbine and Shin Nippon Steam Turbine with a total combined capacity of 71 MW. These units are mainly used to provide power generation during peak periods.
