The Winchester Well Project will construct a new municipal production well for Murray City to support the City’s public drinking water system. The work includes mobilization, drilling and reaming of a production well to an anticipated depth of approximately 800 feet, geophysical logging, formation testing, installation of casing and well screens, gravel pack and grout seals, well development and aquifer testing, disinfection, wellhead construction, and site restoration. All work must comply with Utah Division of Water Rights and Utah Division of Drinking Water requirements, applicable Utah Administrative Code provisions, and Murray City standards. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, permits, testing, and documentation required to deliver a complete and functional production well.
