The intention of the project is to revitalize the Kenner lakefront area by educating citizens about the benefits and risks of living near the water, as well as investing in structural and green infrastructure projects to manage future risk by implementing an amphitheater, walking trails, children’s play spaces, and green infrastructure meadows. The scope of services anticipated for the project currently needed is to finalize design plans and perform construction administration and resident inspection services. Jefferson Parish anticipates the project will require the following supplemental services/disciplines: coastal engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, building architect, landscape architect, geotechnical services, land surveying, and resident inspection.
