1. Contractor must conduct the examination engagements or performance audits in accordance with GAGAS (attestation standards or performance audits standards based on the specific type of engagement (examination engagement or performance audit) as deemed necessary and selected by the Contractor and agreed with the CPUC to accomplish the set audit objectives). 2. Contractor is to complete four (4) performance audits or examination engagements in each year, totaling twelve (12) audits for the duration of the contract. 3. The contractor is independent as to where it deems necessary to perform the work, whether at the contractor’s location or visits to carriers or the CPUC as the contractor deems necessary. 4. The contractor will recommend which type of engagement is necessary to meet the set audit objectives. CPUC will make the final determination as to which type of engagement is best to accomplish the set audit objectives. Contractor shall either conduct examination engagements or performance audits. 5. The contractor is responsible for planning and conducting the audits and providing the written reports to UARCD as stipulated in the Deliverables section.
