Estimated Quantity It is estimated by the Joint Meeting that the quantity of Dry Bulk Polymer to be required at the Joint Meeting’s Biosolids Facility will be approximately 450,000 pounds based on one (1) year period. The quantity estimated is based on a twelve (12) month period. However, the Joint Meeting reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity estimated without limit as may be required in accordance with the actual operating requirements. Quantities to be Delivered Dry Polymer to be delivered to the Biosolids Facility must be in bulk quantities in Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC), spout bottom bulk bag, 2,000 lbs. maximum each. Delivery The polymer shall be delivered to the Joint Meeting Biosolids Facility in Elizabeth, New Jersey within 96 hours of the placement of the order by Joint Meeting. The quantity delivered at any one time shall be in accordance with the Joint Meeting’s orders. Due to the potential increased usage of polymer which would reduce the reserve on hand, or as a result of load rejection for non-compliance, should the Bidders manufacturing/storage facility be at a location whose distance away from the Joint Meeting plant would cause the Bidder to violate the 96 hour delivery requirement then the Bidder would be required to provide interim storage/processing facilities within a distance from the Joint Meeting plant such that the delivery time requirements are not violated. The cost of providing these “local” facilities as well as the product delivery services shall be included in the Contractor’s bid price. The Joint Meeting reserves the right to inspect the “local” facilities at any time either before the Contract award is made or during the life of the Contract.F2
