The County of Ventura (hereinafter referred to as County) invites your organization to submit a written proposal to provide workforce development services priority populations of Ventura County. The County is soliciting proposals to identify a subrecipient to deliver workforce development services to priority populations within Ventura County. These populations include but are not limited to: • Low-income individuals • Displaced homemakers: Individuals who have been providing unpaid services to family members and are no longer supported by that income • Individuals with disabilities: Includes youth with disabilities, individuals with mental health challenges, and individuals in rehabilitation or recovery. • Older individuals: Adults ages 65 and older • Justice-involved individuals • Individuals experiencing homelessness • Youth who are in or have aged out of foster care: Includes runaway youth • English language learners • Eligible migrant and seasonal farmworkers • Single parents: Includes single pregnant women • Long-term unemployed individuals
