Work associated with this project occurs in four (4) different facilities at the Salt Lake International Airport: 1 – QTA Facility; Select mechanical systems are failing or nearing end of life at the Salt Lake City International Airport's Quick Turn-Around (QTA) facility. The purpose of this project is to replace the following systems: New vacuum system to increase the capacity of the exhaust fans and to reduce excessive heat in the main vacuum room where the heat is damaging mechanical components, Replace the radiant tube heaters in the QTA with exterior rated and updated heaters, and Replace aging QTA HVAC systems with updated Mitsubishi split systems. 2 – RSS Building A Fencing & Wall Reconfiguration Select mechanical systems are failing or nearing end of life at the Salt Lake City International Airport's Rental Service Site Building A (RSS). The purpose of this project is to replace the following systems: Replace the radiant tube heaters in the RSS's with exterior rated and updated heaters, and Replace existing LG variable refrigerant flow (VRF) or heat pump systems and associated piping. 3 – RSS Building B Door Reconfiguration Select mechanical systems are failing or nearing end of life at the Salt Lake City International Airport's Rental Service Site Building A (RSS). The purpose of this project is to replace the following systems: Replace the radiant tube heaters in the RSS's with exterior rated and updated heaters, and Replace existing LG variable refrigerant flow (VRF) or heat pump systems and associated piping. 4 – RSS Building C Service Bay & Office Reconfiguration Select mechanical systems are failing or nearing end of life at the Salt Lake City International Airport's Rental Service Site Building A (RSS). The purpose of this project is to replace the following systems: Replace the radiant tube heaters in the RSS's with exterior rated and updated heaters, and Replace existing LG variable refrigerant flow (VRF) or heat pump systems and associated piping.
