FY26 Repairs: Contractor to Order new steel and hardware to replace the worn sections of the upper and lower guide rails for CSU at Northside Generating Station Dock. Replace the worn sections of upper and lower guide rails. Due to lack of accessibility to inner surfaces of guide rail complete extent of needed replacement is unknown and will be addressed during completion of this section of the project. Removed sections to be disposed of in JEA provided dumpsters. FY27 Chain and Bucket Replacement: Provide all equipment, labor and materials to remove eight (8) segments of existing sprocket on each side, two(2) segments at a time, due to the chain interference and install the new sprocket sections. The sprocket will have to be rotated by JEA to provide access for the Contractor. Verify that the teeth on each sprocket section are level to the adjacent sprocket teeth. The existing sprockets are 5/8" out from one side to the other. Develop a plan to align the new sprockets. Mechanically clean both sides of each sprocket wheel and paint with two brush coats of ZRC. Provide new M20 grade 8 hex head bolts, nuts and washers. Torque bolts to 439 ft.-lbs.
