Wood County Board of Education is seeking proposals from licensed contractors to haul off approximately 22,000 CY of existing fill material located at 143 Clark Road Lubeck, WV. The proposal submission shall be submitted on unit price, cost per Cubic Yard. The current Clerk of the Works on the site will assist in tracking of excess material removed from the site. The excess material to be hauled off will be of varying and or unknown quality. The Board of Education does not guarantee the quality of the material; no soil proctor is available for this excess material. The contractor shall provide the necessary manpower and equipment to load and haul away. The excess material will be available over an extended period of time. The existing site contractor shall stockpile the excess native material in one or more locations on the current construction site at their costs. The contractor shall provide a detailed schedule. This proposal will start at the stockpile location. The existing project road must be maintained, and any damage done by the excess material hauling operation will be at the cost of the contractor.
