3.1. Goals: The goal of this project is to repair the uplifted section of brick surfacing within the ADA accessible picnic area and the sunken storm drain to ensure ADA access, maneuverability, and compliance. 3.2. Outcome Objectives: 3.2.1. The contractor shall repair the brick surfacing within the ADA accessible picnic area measuring approximately 150 square feet. The final finish elevation of the brick surfacing shall contain a 2% or less cross slope. 3.2.2. The sunken storm drain shall be raised so that the storm drain grate and surrounding brick surfacing contain a 2% or less cross slope. 4. Specific Requirements of Service Delivery 4.1. The Contractor shall remove the existing brick pavers located directly under and around the ADA accessible picnic table located in the southwest corner of the picnic area next to the Miracle Field where the uplifted brick surfacing is the most pronounced. 4.2. The Contractor shall preserve all existing brick pavers where possible. 4.3. The Contractor shall ensure all tree roots are removed from the subbase material in the project area. 4.4. The Contractor shall restore the subbase and the brick surfacing. 4.5. The Contractor shall replace all damaged brick pavers with matching brick pavers. All new bricks must match the existing bricks. 4.6. All donor bricks shall remain in place except for the donor bricks that are located near the storm drain that may be moved temporarily to repair the storm drain. The Contractor shall be responsible for replacing any damaged donor bricks at their own expense. 4.7. The Contractor shall ensure positive flow of water through the existing storm drain in the picnic area and repair as needed. 4.8. The Contractor shall raise the level of the storm drain and ensure that there is less than a 2% cross slope in the area directly surrounding the existing storm drain. 4.8.1. The Contractor shall preserve all existing brick pavers where possible. 4.8.2. The Contractor shall restore the subbase and the brick surfacing as needed. 4.8.3. The Contractor shall replace all damaged brick pavers with matching brick pavers as needed
