This 3R project primarily consists of resurfacing SR 363 from South of CR 2192 (Natural Bridge Road) to SR 261(US319/Capital Circle). Existing travel lanes, auxiliary lanes, median crossovers, and paved shoulders will be resurfaced. The CONSULTANT shall design the addition of a southbound right turn lane at Marpan Lane and a southbound right turn lane into the Trail Head parking for the St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail. Consideration should be given to incorporating the right turn into the trailhead by modifying the existing striped area on the southbound roadway. Numerous ADA improvements to existing pedestrian features will be included in this project. These improvements will consist of repairing deficient sidewalk, replacing/retrofitting non-compliant curb ramps, meeting clear space requirements, and upgrading pedestrian signal features. There are numerous locations where curb inlet tops are creating tripping hazards. The need to install, upgrade, or remove pedestrian handrail shall be considered throughout.
