Remove the existing bi-fold doors and hardware. Run a razor knife along the top track to cut the paint before removing. Patch and fill any visible holes where the top track was removed then paint to match. MCHA will supply touch up paint. Supply and install new MAGIglide Bifold doors to the manufacturer's recommendations. The contractor must measure all the finished openings and provide the measurements to Landquist & Son, Inc. to order the bifold doors. Install a transition strip where the bottom track of the existing bifold doors were removed. Install new hinges, door stops, and passage sets. On the pantry door, bedroom door, and bathroom door. Remove one hinge at a time and install the new hinge to avoid taking the whole door slab off. Doorstops go on one of the hinges. Roughly 110 doors. Replace specified slab doors. The slabs are to match the existing and stained to match the trim. Verify all pre-hung doors open and close properly. The new doorknobs must latch in the strike plate. 8. Unit 97 the bedroom door (32"x80"). Remove existing door casing. Reuse once the door and 9. frame are replaced. Replace door frame and slab. Frame and slab are to match the existing stained trim. The contractor is responsible for replacing any damaged trim caused by removing it. Take pictures of any existing damage before removing the trim. 4 units have 2 pantry doors; one door is 36x80 pre-hung and one is 36x80 bifold. The prehung door gets new hinges, passage set, and doorstop. The bifold door gets replaced. 10. We have inspected every door when creating this work scope. Any additional damage to the doors will be seen when completing the work. The contractor will notify MCHA of the damage. MCHA will determine if it will be added to this contract as a change order prorated to the price of the work item in the existing contract.
