The County is seeking qualified contractors to repair the railroad barrier gates located at the low-water crossing on Quarry Rd. in Spring Valley, CA. The contractor shall effectively repair the electrical damage and inoperable components of the barrier gates and signal lights at Quarry Road to ensure their proper functioning and to mitigate any safety risks posed to the public. Service Delivery Requirements: 2.1. Inspection and assessment: 2.1.1.The contractor shall conduct a thorough inspection of the entire barrier gate system. 2.1.2. The contractor shall identify and document all damages and malfunctioning components caused by flooding. 2.1.3. The contractor shall provide the County Officer Representative (“COR”) with a detailed assessment report of the condition of the system. 2.2. Repairs: 2.2.1. Electrical Repair: 2.2.1.1. Inspect Electrical Wiring: The Contractor shall thoroughly inspect all electrical wiring, connections, and components for damage or corrosion caused by flooding. 2.2.1.1.1. Contractor shall document and list all damaged electrical components and report them to the COR. 2.2.1.2. Repair or Replace Damaged Components: The contractor shall identify and replace any damaged or malfunctioning electrical components, such as wires, connectors, or control units.
