Anderson County School District 2 (ANDS2) will evaluate a fiber-based network infrastructure proposal for the ANDS2 Wide Area Network solution for campus connectivity to the Network Aggregation and Service sites within the District. ANDS2 will evaluate long-term bandwidth and contract options for leased lit or leased dark fiber, as defined by the FCC Second E-Rate Modernization Ruling. The contract award is expected to occur no later than March 23, 2026. Proposer may be required to begin construction, installation, or deployment activities immediately following contract award or may be required to wait until E-Rate funding letter commitments and district funds are received. The District will issue a Notice to Proceed prior to evoking the contract start date. A Funding Commitment Decision Letter (FCDL) is not a Notice to Proceed or signify contract initiation. Specific project schedules will be coordinated with the successful proposer following contract award. The proposal should include: • The leased lit or dark fiber network infrastructure proposal with all costs identified for the proposed term(s) by non-recurring, special construction, monthly recurring, and maintenance as relevant to the specific proposal type. • The operations, maintenance and Service Level Agreements provided for the lit or dark fiber network solution with the associated ongoing cost detailed by year and for the total cost for the proposed term(s). • The submittals identified within the RFP.
