Contractor(s) will be deployed by the City’s contract administrator or designee to make repairs in various locations in the right-of-way. Repairs shall either be minor repairs or major repairs. For the sake of this scope of work, “cutting” shall refer to a horizontal movement of a saw blade and “saw cutting” shall refer to a vertical movement. Minor Repairs: Specifications for Trip Hazard Removal a) Contractor must repair all sidewalk trip hazards between 1/4” and 2” (or as determined by the City representative) in designated work areas. b) Contractor must remove hazards completely, from one end of the raised sidewalk joint to the other if applicable, leaving an absolute zero point of differential between slabs. c) Contractor must repair each sidewalk trip hazard without damage or visible markings to adjacent slab(s) or curb(s). d) Contractor is not allowed to cut the concrete deeper than half its thickness.
