The Special Inspection & Materials Testing provider shall furnish all qualified personnel, tools, equipment, and laboratory services required to perform testing and inspection per governing code requirements, contract documents, and referenced standards. Masonry Special Inspection • Masonry unit placement inspection • Grout & mortar placement • Compression testing as required • Estimated Hours: ~120 hours C. Structural Steel & Welding • Visual welding inspection • Bolting inspection • Shop/field inspection contribution • Estimated Hours: ~104 hours D. Seismic / Wood Framing Inspection • Shear wall nailing inspection • Framing observation • Hold-down anchorage • Estimated Hours: ~96 hours E. Miscellaneous Field Testing • Epoxy/expansion anchor torque/pull testing • Light-gauge steel periodic inspection • Waterproofing observation • Estimated Hours: ~120 hours F. Laboratory Services • Concrete compressive testing • Masonry grout & mortar testing • Rebar tensile/bend testing (#3–#11) • Bolt/anchor mechanical testing as required • Lab engineering oversight & reporting • Estimated: 65 units + 69 engineering hours
