The projects anticipated to be awarded under this RFP include; (1) construction of a new 1-story early education building, play field, parking lot, and various campus improvements at Franklin Elementary School; (2) modernization and various campus improvements at Michelle and Barack Obama Center for Inquiry and Exploration; (3) construction of a new multi-story Student Services/Student Center building including a black box theater and significant grading and site work at Samohi; and (4) replacement of windows in Barnum Hall lobby at Samohi. It is anticipated that one firm could propose a single construction manager to oversee both the work at Obama Center and the Samohi Barnum Hall Window Replacement. In response to this RFP, the District requests individual proposals for the above-listed projects. Proposals should include the project team and cost proposal, along with project approach and any other information relevant to selection of the CM teams for these four projects.
