Work to be performed by the Contractor: Construction includes providing all labor, equipment, testing, and materials to perform the rehabilitation SOW and the additional tasks listed below in accordance with the Contract Documents: 1. Mobilization and demobilization. 2. Construction and maintenance of temporary site access features. 3. Control and maintenance of the access road from US 176 in vicinity of the Broad River Bridge to the construction area. 4. Traffic control and signage for US 176 entrance. 5. Installation, maintenance, and removal of erosion control measures to maintain compliance with project permit conditions 6. Installation and maintenance of water control features to maintain a water flow into the canal to supply the municipal water intake downstream through all phases of construction. The City requires a minimum water level of Elevation 146.21 in NAVD datum for water withdrawal from the canal. 7. Protect the existing headgate, ancillary structures, and other project features to remain in place. 8. Execute construction work as detailed in the SOW in accordance with the Contract Documents. 9. Performance qualification testing of the rehabilitated headworks and associated structures, systems, and components (SSCs) to demonstrate that the SSCs meet the performance requirements to return the Project back to operation. 10. Site restoration including backfill and seeding along the disturbed portions of the dike and the parking area and any additional means to restore the area to a condition equal to or better than the existing conditions and as specified.
