Contractor must replace existing book security tag system and security gates at the library with the new system on 13.56 MHZ RFID system. 1. Contractor must provide all labor and materials to remove existing gates, preparation of floors, and installation and testing of new two aisle security gates (3-point system). Gates to utilize 13.56 Mhz technology. 2. Contractor may use existing flooring raceway to route new cable or a base plate with pedestals mounted to a baseplate and pedestal-to-pedestal wiring routed through the baseplate 3. Gates to provide the following features: a. Aisle widths which comply with ADA and DDA guidelines b. Gates are required for entry and exit aisles. c. Alarm and logging feature to alert staff when an item containing a secured RFID Tags. d. Tag detection to be multi-directional-directional and able to detect multiple tags simultaneously. e. Design of gates to be clear open style to maintain welcoming aesthetics f. Contractor to provide the following options with bid: People counting analytics, Auxiliary contacts for remote monitoring, extended warranty.
