This project provides for the Commission to issue Work Authorizations to the Contractor to perform the installation of durable pavement markings as the need arises. The contract time period will extend from the date of Notice to Proceed to November 19, 2027. Work may include installation of Highly Reflectorized Polyurea Pavement Markings, Permanent Preformed Patterned Reflective Pavement Markings, and Highly Reflectorized Hot Thermoplastic Pavement Markings. Installation of durable pavement markings may include other types of pavement marking work, including installation of pavement marking legends and miscellaneous interchange or mainline pavement marking work that are not associated with the items of work being bid. If the need arises for such work, prices to perform the work will be negotiated with the Contractor for each Work Authorization.
